Afternoon tea - that 'oh so British' enjoyment - hits new heights with this specially crafted Christmas Gift Box for your loved ones.
Pop the cork on a fantastic vibrant and fresh English sparkling wine from Worcestershire, made with love and devotion by the wonderful Judith & Tim. It's very limited in quantity and we are delighted to be able to offer it across a select number of our hampers this year.
We also have some beautiful tea pyramids from Sussex-based Hoogly Tea. Tina is Danish, Paul is English, and the name reflects the Scandinavian lifestyle of Hygge, meaning a feeling of warmth, wellbeing and cosiness. It's part of the reason the Danes are voted one of the happiest nations year after year. Hoogly Tea combines Tina’s love of tea with this mindful concept to create a unique and healthy range of blends, made with luxury natural ingredients.
Afternoon tea wouldn't be tea without strawberries, and from Cornwall is an English Strawberry Conserve that is literally bursting with 80% fruit (the norm is often only 50%, if you're lucky!) Add to this a festive twist on marmalade with our Christmas Pudding Marmalade from Sussex. A combination of oranges, lemons, glace cherries, sultanas and currants, with mixed spice and a hint of brandy to complete this award-winning taste.
For that sweet touch, we had to include a Christmas Cake, lovingly hand-made in Warwickshire by Keira, a super-talented Swiss and French-trained pastry chef who really does make desserts to die for. And a very special box of hand-crafted chocolates from our amazing chocolatier Joe Vaughan. These mini mince pies feature a dark chocolate shell, filled with mincemeat and milk chocolate ganache topped with white chocolate and brandy. What's not to love?
This is a Christmas Gift with style, supporting fabulous artisan producers and combining the best of sustainable British food for a beautifully presented and thoughtful gift.
** Please note.
This hamper is available for sale from the beginning of November and can be kept at an ambient temperature until Christmas. Please do not put it by a radiator however, as the chocolate will melt! But the contents do not need refrigerating and all have a long shelf-life.
Our Christmas Cake is nut-free.
The cake, the chocolates and the marmalade contain alcohol.
